Washington, DC —NEA Chairman Rocco Landesman will visit Columbus and Cincinnati, Ohio on September 27 and 28, 2010. He is traveling to the state to learn how the arts work in Ohio with a particular focus on the role of the arts in creating and sustaining livable, vibrant urban and rural centers. The chairman is visiting Columbus at the invitation of National Council on the Arts member Charlotte Kessler. His host in Cincinnati is Margy Waller, vice president, Arts & Culture Partnerships with ArtsWave (formerly the Fine Arts Fund.)
