Such a lovely report was received from the base for this performance, that we'll just let them do the talking here.
"The show was fantastic. Very inspiring. We need more of this sort of thing on the base to balance out the day in and day out demands of military life. The music was superb and Katherine Myers' presentations brought it to a higher personal level. I think even the dragged-in husbands enjoyed it more than they anticipated.
After attending both of the elementary performances I must say I was truly moved by what Great American Voices through Opera Colorado was giving to the children. One school had 200 kids and the other had 320. The kids were so involved, laughing and clapping and asking questions. The school officials were very appreciative!
Both the children's educational presentation and the adult program are so important to the tour. I don't see how they could be separated.
Thanks again for this tremendous offering to military communities from the NEA. The experience for me was truly a pleasure and I sincerely hope that we can do it again and again."
