To support the expansion of The Arts Marketing Center, a program to help stabilize the non-profit
arts sector in Chicago, and to replicate it nationally. (National/Multi-State Impact)
Atlatl, Inc. (Consortium)
To support the Native Arts Network Consortium, a regional network of Native American cultural
organizations in Arizona, Minnesota, Montana, North Carolina, and New York working to strengthen
the field of Native American art through coalition building, arts presentation, training, and

California Lawyers for the Arts, Inc.
San Francisco, CA
To support a national outreach strategy to make mediation services, in which artists or arts
organizations can settle disputes without costly litigation, more widely available through the
expansion of Arts Resolution Services to Colorado, Illinois, Missouri, New York, Texas and
Washington D.C. (National/Multi-State Impact)
Cambodian Network Council, Inc.
DISCIPLINE/FIELD: Folk & Traditional Arts
To support the National Cambodian Folk & Traditional Arts Preservation and Promotion Project a
program designed to develop a coordinated national effort to preserve and promote Khmer art forms
in the United States. (National/Multi-State Impact)
Copper Canyon Press
Port Townsend, WA
To support a national marketing initiative designed to introduce Copper Canyon's Books into the
academic market through a direct mail campaign, an advertising component, and displays at major
national conferences. (National/Multi-State Impact)
National Association of Artists' Organizations, Inc.
To support The Co. Generate Project, an initiative to develop and support early career arts
professionals who are the next generation of cultural leaders, by convening meetings and providing
technical assistance in six regions across the United States, and disseminating findings through
publications. (National/Multi-State Impact)
New Jersey Symphony Orchestra (Consortium)
To support the development of a web site that will function as a customer service, marketing, and
fund raising vehicle for members of the ArtsWeb consortium--a partnership of performing arts
organizations from New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut. (National/Multi-State Impact)
OPERA America, Inc.
To support OPERA America's two Trustee Volunteer Resource Center field publications and its
nationwide information and training program for opera trustees and volunteers.
Poets & Writers, Inc.
New York, NY
To support the continued development of the internet site, P&W Online, a service reaching
thousands of individuals each year with a comprehensive national listing of grants and awards for
writers; a searchable database of the Directory of American Poets and Fiction Writers; and
detailed information on publishing opportunities and employment. (National/Multi-State Impact)
Pregones Touring Puerto Rican Theatre Collection, Inc.
DISCIPLINE/FIELD: Endowment & Cash Reserves
To support the augmentation of a cash reserve, partial support of the managing director's salary
and implementation of a planning initiative for the expansion of touring activities to increase
