FIELD/DISCIPLINE: Theater and Musical Theater To support the commissioning and world premiere of Scott And Hem In The Garden Of Allah by Mark St. Germain. Set in the famed Hollywood resort (The Garden of Allah), the play will explore the relationship between writers F. Scott Fitzgerald and Ernest Hemingway as it imagines their final meeting when they debate and discuss their respective positions and personal relationship at an important crossroad in their careers. FIELD/DISCIPLINE: Folk and Traditional Arts To support the Augusta Heritage Center's Traditional Arts Program. The Traditional Arts Program will support programming that preserves the folk arts of West Virginia through workshops, performances, festivals, craft fairs, documentary projects, and outreach initiatives (including the "Mountain Dance Trail" promoting traditional square dances found in small towns across the state).
