To support performances by Shesh Besh, an Arab-Jewish music ensemble from the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, and associated outreach activities. Shesh Besh will lead workshops about Middle Eastern music and improvisation for jazz musicians and provide narrated concerts with question-and-answer sessions for students and for Oklahoma City residents living in retirement and assisted living facilities, including the Schusterman Community Center, a facility for older Jewish residents with disabilities.

To support the American Celebration of Jazz and Folk, with associated outreach activities that will include performances at senior homes and churches located in rural Ponca City, as well as workshops for low-income students. The program will include performances by the Allison Fisher Jazz Quartet and Tradition and Change.

To support the " Image and Word" issue of World Literature Today. The issue devoted to photography and literature will feature the work of more than 20 photographers who will contribute a gallery of 3-5 photographs each along with an essay that describes their work as a creative language or as inspired by writers.
