FIELD/DISCIPLINE: Media Arts To support the Re:Mix Media Project, a new series of programs planned by the Free Music Archive that aims to engage audiences in the appreciation, discussion, and creation of music and arts in the digital environment. FIELD/DISCIPLINE: Arts Education To support Educating the Creative Mind: Music, Arts and the Interdisciplinary Curriculum for Children in Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten. Participants will engage in a two-day summer professional development workshop to develop knowledge and skills for an arts-based interdisciplinary curriculum, be coached by arts mentors in their classrooms during the fall, and attend a project evaluation at a conference the following spring. FIELD/DISCIPLINE: Presenting To support the presentation of the Voices Animating the Stage series. Premieres of dance, opera, and music works will be presented by artists including composer David T. FIELD/DISCIPLINE: Media Arts To support the production of JazzSet with Dee Dee Bridgewater, a weekly radio series of jazz concerts. Concerts are brought to the listening public from locations including the Monterey Jazz Festival, the Village Vanguard in New York, the Detroit Jazz Festival, and the Newport Jazz Festival. The series is aired on 97 NPR-affiliate stations in the United States, to global audiences through NPR Worldwide, and on Sirius XM Satellite Radio.

FIELD/DISCIPLINE: Musical Theater To support the Theater for Everyone Sensory Friendly Performance Project, a new model of live theater designed specifically for families of children with autism or other cognitive and developmental disabilities. The project will include the production of four "sensory friendly" performances; the creation of a new work to engage this specific audience; the elimination of experiential and practical barriers to participation; and active sharing of the model with other theaters. FIELD/DISCIPLINE: Opera To support performances of an opera double-bill: Puccini's Gianni Schicchi paired with Rachmaninoff's Francesca da Rimini. These two works, a comedy and a tragedy both based on cantos from Dante's Divine Comedy, together will form the centerpiece of the Princeton Festival, which will draw visitors from the Philadelphia and New York City metropolitan areas. FIELD/DISCIPLINE: Literature To support the Latino/a Literary Imagination: Emerging Voices Residency Program, offering free intensive writing workshops and reading tours throughout New Jersey and New Mexico. FIELD/DISCIPLINE: Theater To support a production of Tovarich by Jaques Deval. Tovarich (the Russian word for comrade) was translated into English from French by American playwright Robert E. Sherwood in 1933 and explores individualism, loyalty, and conviction as sources of happiness.
