To support Arts Camps for Older Adults, a program in which professional artists will work in elder care facilities with residents, staff, and family members to create art. The project, conducted in partnership with the Minnesota Creative Artists and Aging Network, will bring professional artists skilled in their craft, such as tile-making, painting, and writing, to work in selected adult care centers during a three-month residency.

To support the Hampton Celebration, a celebration of the works of playwright Christopher Hampton. The project will feature the world premiere commission of Appomattox, productions of Tales from Hollywood and Total Eclipse, and include additional play readings and community engagement activities.

To support educational activities, access to film and video equipment for media artists in the region, and a screening series. The film screening program will bring independent films and their makers to the region.

The series of free public lectures will bring national and international artists, writers, and critics working in contemporary art to Minneapolis. Previous lecturers include Peruvian artist David Zink, who is based in Berlin; Mark Allen, executive director of Machine Project in Los Angeles; and curator Anthony Huberman, who is director of Artist's Institute in New York City.

To support the creation of a web application based on Polish born artist Piotr Szyhalski's (b. 1967) interactive artwork Ding an sich (The Canon Series, 1997). Comprised of more than 10 animations that represent a response to The Thing In Itself and borrowing from Immanuel Kant's Critique of Pure Reason, Szyhalski uses the model of a musical score for the work's animation, which is then performed by the viewer.

To support development and production costs for MU-TV, a series of webisodes created by Asian American playwrights. Stories designed specifically for the Internet will be drawn from contemporary Asian American experiences and brought to life by actors from Theater Mu and other companies. Webisodes, each six to 10 minutes long, may consist of a monologue, a spoken word performance, or a dramatic scene.

To support music, dance, and theater residencies in special education classrooms of Minneapolis Public elementary, middle, and high schools for students ages 5 to 18 with cognitive, developmental, behavioral, emotional, and physical disabilities. Specially-trained professional actors, dancers, and musicians will lead interactive weekly activities based on a curriculum designed with district arts and special education specialists to teach the fundamentals of arts forms while developing and strengthening social and communication skills.

Artists including composer Zeena Parkins, performer Cynthia Hopkins, music ensemble Sō Percussion, and theater troupe Elevator Repair Service will take part in public programs such as performances, open rehearsals, question-and-answer sessions, readings, panel discussions, and school performances.
