To support the creation and presentation of The Lottery, choreographed by Val Caniparoli, the first major commissioned work under the leadership of artistic director Adam Sklute. The work is based on the American short-story by author Shirley Jackson about conformity gone mad, and will be created in collaboration with costume and decor designer Sandra Woodall, and composer Robert Moran.

To support Capturing the Caribbean, a mainstage performance, youth concert, and series of assemblies in area elementary schools. Proposed artists include percussionists Barry Olsavsky and Ron Brough.

To support the world premiere of The Third Crossing by Debora Threedy, directed by artistic director Jerry Rapier. The play is a multimedia theatrical collage that explores the impact of societal prejudices on couples in inter-racial relationships, and how their children destabilize traditional perceptions of racial identity.

To support the acquisition and presentation of choreographer Merce Cunningham's works: Scramble and How to Pass, Kick, Fall, and Run. The project will also feature educational outreach classes, study guides, curriculum, and demonstrations focusing on Cunningham's unique method, theory, and philosophy.

To support the Youth Documentary Arts Program, a media arts education program. The project will include Reel Stories, a summer documentary filmmaking workshop; Documenting Communities, a year-long exploration of communities; Loud and Clear, a youth-produced radio program; and Pitch-Nic Young Writer/Director, a mentorship program.

To support the Sundance Theatre Lab for the development of new work by emerging and mid-career theater artists. Providing an environment and the resources to advance new play scripts toward full productions, the Lab offers a full range of support to enable the fellows to focus on strengthening the storytelling and authentic voice of their projects.

To support a student matinee performance by the Joe Goode Performance Group. Schools that serve children with special needs, Title I schools, and schools located in rural areas will be invited to attend. Educators will be provided study guides and students will participate in a post-performance, question-and-answer session with the artists.

To support developmental workshops of a commissioned show, Dominique Serrand's and Steve Epp's Inivisible to the Eye-Looking for the Little Prince. The work will interweave the writings of The Little Prince by author Saint-Exupery with his experience as a WWII pilot.
