To support the concert Music Makes Us One! Composer James Stephenson and ethnomusicologist Ed Wapp will collaborate on an original symphonic work incorporating and paying tribute to Native American music. Partners will include executive staff from the Kiowa Tribe, Chickasaw Nation, and the Comanche National Museum and Cultural Center.

There will be six emerging visual artists commissioned to create new bodies of work or site-specific installations overseen by a guest curator and emerging curator through the Spotlight Program; Momentum is a biannual juried exhibition in Oklahoma City and Tulsa featuring emerging artists and includes visual art, film, installations, performance, and musical presentations.

To support Dead Man Walking by composer Jake Heggie. Due to the unique subject matter and its potential appeal to those not familiar with the art form, both pre- and post-performance surveys will gauge the level of engagement among audience members. Sister Helen Prejean also will participate in various lectures and panel discussions prior to the production.
