To support the arts education project Connections: An Exploration of Indigenous Art, Culture, and Creativity. Youth from the Espanola school system will study historic and contemporary folk and traditional arts and receive opportunities to work with artists and craftspeople to create works in tin, wood, fiber, and straw.

In consortium with the Lensic Performing Arts Center, and additional partner Santa Fe Jazz Foundation, the 12-day, two-city event in Albuquerque and Santa Fe features both free and ticketed events, and will include eight concerts, workshops, open rehearsals, and a Meet the Artist session with featured performer NEA Jazz Master Randy Weston.

To support Songs of War and Peace, a performance and outreach project featuring composer-in-residence Robert Kyr. Activities will include performances of Kyr's newly-created work titled The Tides of Peace and related residency activities, outreach educational programs, and performances and lecture-demonstrations in venues such as the Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi, the Georgia O'Keefe Museum, and the Loretto Chapel.

To support Stories in Music, a performance outreach project for children and families. The project will feature storyteller Joe Hayes as narrator in a bilingual (English and Spanish) presentation of Sergei Prokofiev's Peter and the Wolf and the traditional Latin American tale La Llorona with music by Antonín Dvořák (Water Goblin) and Engelbert Humperdinck (The Witch's Ride from Hänsel und Gretel).
