FIELD/DISCIPLINE: Museum To support the exhibition William H. Johnson: An American Modern, with accompanying catalogue and education programs. The James E. Lewis Museum of Art exhibition will trace Johnson's (1901-1970) career as an African American artist from his arrival in New York City in 1918 to his later work in the 1950s. FIELD/DISCIPLINE: Museum To support a touring exhibition of the work of the American artists Bradley McCallum (b. 1966) and Jacquelin Tarry, (b. 1963), with accompanying catalogue and education programs. FIELD/DISCIPLINE: Theater To support the production of My Name Is Asher Lev adapted by Aaron Posner from Chaim Potok's novel. A co-production with Delaware Theatre Company, the production will be part of the theater's Literary Works Project, bringing a fresh modern perspective to a classic piece of literature.
