To support a residency by composer Paul Lansky. Three multiple-day visits are planned that will include master classes and lectures for university music students, pre-concert Composer Conversations, performances curated by Lansky, and the commission and state-wide tour performances of a new work by the composer.

The musical portrays the life of pioneering African American aviatrix Bessie Coleman and features music by Douglas J. Cohen and books and lyrics by Cheryl L. Davis.

To support the creation of resident choreographer Roger Van Fleteren's Frankenstein and the restaging of Houston Ballet associate choreographer Christopher Bruce's Rooster. The company will tour these works alongside works by Marius Petipa and George Balanchine.
