To support the publication and promotion of the literary journal Bamboo Ridge and a book of fiction. The journal will focus on the unique literature and culture of Hawaii, and the proposed story collection by Filipino-American writer Michelle Cruz Skinner will explore the Filipino diaspora from the Philippines to Hawaii to Italy.
