To support a series of performances by established and emerging artists. Presentations will include a range of multidisciplinary work, juxtaposing traditional repertoire with new works, and will be accompanied by outreach activities such as discussions, interviews, workshops, lecture-demonstrations, and master classes.

To support a consortium project that examines issues related to the historic, ecologic, and cultural values of Phillips, South Carolina, a Reconstruction-era Freedmen's town founded in 1878. Artists will design an installation and public programs, in partnership with the community and the Coastal Conservation League.
