To support expansion of the current Web site for craft artists. The expanded site will include a clearinghouse of information and resources on business planning, risk management, health and safety resources, and disaster prevention.

Flynn Theatre for the Performing Arts, Ltd. (on behalf of Burlington Discover Jazz Festival)

To support artist residencies and performances at the Burlington Discover Jazz Festival. Educational activities will include a jazz scholar-in-residence, pre-performance lectures, and dialogues with the performing artists.

To support Words Come Alive, a consortium project in partnership with the Burlington School District. Summer training, workshops, and classroom collaborations will be featured activities for elementary school teachers in theater and dance, along with performances at Flynn Center for teachers and their classroom students, and utilization of a video and new toolkit that documents and prescribes teaching techniques.

To support a consortium project, the Vermont Painted Curtains Project, with an accompanying symposium. In collaboration with the Southern Vermont Art Center, an exhibition drawn from Vermont's collection of more than 145 painted theater curtains will be presented.

To support a multistate tour of Jo Roets' acclaimed adaptation of Cyrano, directed by Liz Diamond, to rural and underserved audiences throughout New England. Targeting communities with no resident theater, the production will be supplemented by study guides, workshops, pre-show lectures, audio description, and ASL interpretation.
