To support a production of Richard Danielpour's Margaret Garner, with libretto by Toni Morrison. To support the production of Venus by Pulizter Prize-winning playwright Suzan Lori-Parks. The play is a theatrical portrait of the 19th-century historical figure Saartjie Baartman, and examines such issues as the objectification of people, and how people are often more influenced by appearance than substance.
