To support the production of August Wilson's play, Two Trains Running. Part of Wilson's cycle of plays about the African American experience, the play takes place in a Pittsburgh diner in 1969 and examines the lives of regulars struggling to cope with the rapidly changing world around them.

To support the American premiere of Jane Eyre, a contemporary opera by composer Michael Berkeley and librettist David Malouf. The two-act opera, based on Charlotte Bronte's novel, will be performed at Webster University's Loretto-Hilton Center.
