To support production and national broadcast of the public radio series Beale Street Caravan. Weekly, one-hour programs featuring performances by blues artists will be broadcast on more than 300 public, community, and college radio stations nationwide.

To support, through a Chairman's Extraordinary Action award, the statewide coordinator's position and related costs for the National Symphony Orchestra's American Residency Program inTennessee. For ten days the National Symphony Orchestra and Leonard Slatkin will be in residence inTennessee, conducting full evening orchestral concerts, programming for young people and additional educational and outreach activities.
