To support the Freedom Initiative, a programming initiative in
celebration of the orchestra's 75th anniversary season. Plans
include concerts, a commission, world premieres, a festival of
women composers, and numerous educational activities.

To support an annual playwrights conference in the community of New
Harmony, IN. During each conference, competitively selected
playwrights work in a supportive community of professional actors,
directors, and dramaturgs to create new works for theater, musical
theater, and film.
