seminars, establish a leadership council, and develop resources on best practices in the field of

To support a performance of Mahler's Symphony No. 8 Symphony of a Thousand for large
orchestra, eight vocal soloists, two adult choruses, and a children's chorus. The two performances
in May 2002 will be the culminating work in a five-year Mahler cycle.
