To explore available funding opportunities for organizations, click on the artistic discipline or field below that is most relevant to your project. In most areas, funding is limited to organizations.

Direct awards to individuals are made only through Literature Fellowships, NEA Jazz Masters Fellowships, and NEA National Heritage Fellowships in the Folk & Traditional Arts.

Federal Partnership opportunities such as the National Arts and Humanities Youth Program Awards are listed within the disciplines/fields.

NOTE: Please see important information about changes to the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) system as it transitions to the System for Award Management (SAM). Watch demonstration videos to learn more about creating a SAM.gov account and migrating permissions from CCR.

System for Award Management (SAM) registration is free at www.sam.gov.

For an overview of the NEA's funding opportunities, please see the NEA Grants Workshop presentation.

The series of Arts Works guidelines webinars for each discipline has now concluded. All of the sessions are archived on our YouTube channel.
