* All organizations that will request optional Folk & Traditional Arts Infrastructure Component funds must submit a Statement of Intent to Apply to mathisa@arts.gov and bergeyb@arts.gov The Arts Endowment requires SAAs and RAOs to submit their applications electronically through Grants.gov, the federal government's online application system. See "Grants.gov Application Requirements" for further information. In the event of a major emergency that affects a large number of applicants for an extended period of time (e.g., a multi-state power outage or a natural disaster such as a hurricane), the Chairman of the National Endowment for the Arts may decide to adjust application deadlines for applicants in the affected area.
