National Arts and Humanities Youth Program Awards

The President's Committee on the Arts and the Humanities (PCAH) invites applications for its 2012 National Arts and Humanities Youth Program Awards.  Presented in partnership with the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA), and the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH), the National Arts and Humanities Youth Program awards recognize the accomplishments of arts and humanities after-school and out-of-school programs and activities across the country.  As Mrs. Michelle Obama remarked during the 2009 National Arts and Humanities Youth Program awards ceremony held at the White House, the programs receiving National Arts and Humanities Youth Program awards each use achievement in the arts and humanities as “a bridge to achievement in life.”  With its $10,000 award, the National Arts and Humanities Youth Program also assists organizations, furthers knowledge, and encourages development of future programs.

Further information, including lists of previous awardees, is available at http://www.nahyp.org/

Deadline: Applications must be submitted online by Monday, February 4, 2013, at www.nahyp.org/how-to-apply.
